Adoptive Families magazine is a national award winning adoption magazine providing information for families before, during and after adoption. Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)
CHADD is a national non-profit organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with AD/HD. This website contains abundant information pertaining to AD/HD and special education services.

This online school offers courses, CDs, publications, presentations, workshops and group consultations that help to raise awareness and prepare parents and professionals for addressing language, developmental and educational needs of internationally adopted older children. U.S. Department of Education

The U.S. Department of Education's website offers content about a 504 plan and the IEP process. Parents will find a wonderful question/answer section pertaining to obtaining services for children with special needs. There are also informative articles/brochures regarding helping children learn and develop.
